CrossFit utilizes Olympic lifts, gymnastics, and mono-structural activities (running, rowing, biking, etc.) in mixed bouts of work and rest intervals. Workouts are usually kept short and intense but are constantly varied in terms of time and modality. A class is 1 hour and includes warm up, skill presentation and practice, the workout of the day (WOD), and cool down. Each athlete will receive his or her own scaling to match their needs and abilities.
Healthy living requires that our children push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, jump effectively and safely regardless of athletic ability. The CrossFit Kids program is based on the principle of “mechanics, consistency, then, and only then, intensity.” We strive to teach good movement that will carry on into adulthood.
This class is geared towards ages 50 and up. The goal is to help improve fitness for better health, better quality of life, improve function, decrease risk of falls/injury.
Designed to supplement your current CrossFit training. Each class will focus on an Olympic Weightlifting skill or technique designed to improve your performance in CrossFit. Athletes of all skill levels are welcome.
Our Personal Training options are for individuals who are seeking to improve their overall fitness with one on one training or small group training with one of our coaches. You will benefit most from this program if you are new to exercise, have specific performance oriented goals, have a pre-existing injury, or if you just want that extra attention and motivation to keep you on track with reaching your goals.
About Our barbell club is founded on two guiding principles. We believe that everyone is capable of performing the Snatch, Clean and Jerk. With hard work, discipline, and dedication these seemingly impossible lifts can be executed with the fluidity and grace of a world-class athlete. We be believe training the Olympic lifts not only improves your speed, balance, accuracy and coordination but it also improves your focus and ability to overcome fear. By using the barbell to train the body and the mind we seek to improve athlete performance on and off the platform.
